Event Sanction Procedures
All future Colorado Judo tournaments, clinics, camps and competitive events will be sanctioned by USA Judo. Any Colorado Judo League club wishing to host an event must sanction their event through the following process.
- Verify that there is an open and acceptable date with the president of the Colorado Judo League.
- Follow the sanctioning procedure through your membership account with USA Judo via Sport80. For information go to USA Judo's Sanctioning Procedures and forms.
- The Waiver MUST include the Colorado Judo League in the “Waiver and Release of Liability and Agreement to Participate” form.
- USA Judo will send you a USA sanction.
- After receipt of the USA Judo Sanction complete the following steps.
- Pay the Colorado Judo League sanction fee (link above). Select and pay $25.00 for the sanction fee only, OR $50.00 fee if you also wish to rent the CJL tournament equipment.
- Attach your USA Judo sanction, entry form and waiver to an email addressed to coloradojudoleague@gmail.com Important: Make Subject Line of Email "CJL Sanction - (NAME OF TOURNAMENT)" Failure to do so may result in delay of processing.
That’s all there is to it!
CJL will post the entry form and waiver on the CJL website and distribute via CJL email.
Note: Waiver MUST include the Colorado Judo League in your “Waiver and Release of Liability and Agreement to Participate” form.
Be Advised: Event and waiver will not be posted on the CJL website or distributed via CJL email until the USA Judo sanction, event form, waiver and CJL fee are received by the Colorado Judo League. Again, the CJL MUST be identified in your waiver.
